New artists announced for INDIE16 including Red Bull DJs Stage and Comedy & Spoken Word line-up


The line up for the Indiependence Music & Arts Festival continues to grow with more acts announced across the 3-day festival, taking place at Deer Farm, Mitchelstown, Co Cork onJuly 29-31. Also announced today is the INDIE16 Comedy & Spoken Word Stage – curated by Andrew Stanley, it will feature Damo ClarkTotally WiredEric LalorRyan CullenEdwin SalmonNiamh MarronEmman IdamaPeter FlanaganEmma DoranDavid ReillyTrevor Browne and Marcus O’Laoire cracking the laughs – with Co-Present Podcast with Dwayne Woods, joining Tony Clayton-Lea’s Culture VulturesWasps vs HumansJohn CumminsLewis KennyPaul McNamaraBubba ShakespeareAbby OliveriaClara Rose ThorntonJulie Good and Erin Fornoff as part of INDIE’s strongest spoken word line-up to date.

Added to the music line-up for INDIE16 today are Cronin, August WellsJack O’RourkeSlow Motion Heroes and Jamie Stanton – who join the likes of Little HoursKing Kong Company, Pleasure Beach, Brian Deady, CC Brez, Saint Sister, Coasts, Stephanie RaineyWyvern Lingo,Otherkin, Fang and Bitch Falcon.
The new VIP Garden tickets and three tiers of early bird tickets for INDIE16 have already sold out, but there is still weekend camping tickets for the festival on sale at €119. Tickets are selling fast though and are likely to sell out in advance. Day tickets are also on sale now. 
Festival fans will be happy to see the return of regular INDIE features such as the Beer Hall Stage, the Silent DiscoFesti-Huts and a wide variety of food options over the course of the weekend.
